This weekend I spent a couple days there shooting with a couple of very talented skiiers and boarders for marketing collateral.
I was lucky enough to send the weekend in a cozy lakeside cabin at "Sleeps Cabins". http://www.sleepscabins.com/
Pulling into the resort late on Friday evening we quickly found our cabin, with a fire layed in the stove for us, heat on, and warm cookies with a welcome note from our hosts. Cozy, well equiped and stocked, it had everything we would need for a comfortable weekend. Saturday morning came quickly, and honestly, the cabin was too nice...I did not want to leave! The smell of coffee got me out of bed, and the view out onto the lake made for a great way to get the day started.
Pulling into Schweitzer we run into some old ski friends, a couple of guides from Selkirk Powder Company getting ready for their first day out with clients. I hook up with Nick, Brandon and Molly, and we head out to look for a bit of fresh snow...we find it in the trees, off of Chair 4....
