I love weddings, and love being a part of of this special day. I provide a photojournalistic approach with an eye for capturing those special moments that will be cherished forever.




I offer very comprehensive and fairly priced Wedding Packages. I have options available to meet all of your needs. One thing is for sure though, with all options, you OWN the images! No trying to pick 40 images for a wedding book, you get everything I shoot, edited and delivered to you on high resolution CD or DVD. You can print as many of the images as you like, email them around to friends and family, put them on MySpace and Facebook.. You also get your own Online Gallery on my photo host site, where you can direct your family and friends to to view the images that we capture. You can provide them with a password so that they can download images from your gallery free of charge, saving you time and money.

In Studio Holiday Portrait Session Special $ 99.00

Gary Peterson and Erin Hudson have teamed up for an amazing Holiday Portrait Session.

We have built three new sets at the studio to make your Holiday Portrait Session a breeze... just book an appointment, gather the family and head on in!

Session Price is $99.00 and is a half hour long, and conducted at the studio located at 130 North Lee Street. The price includes a photo session of up to a half an hour, for up to 8 family members. Additional members may be included for $10.00 each. Session fee must be paid in either check or cash at time of sitting. Changes of outfits is fine, and any configuration of family members can be photographed. All images will be delivered to you on DVD with a full release of copyright, allowing you to print, copy and share your images.

A night at the Spokane Arena

I shoot for a couple of pro teams that call the Spokane Arena home, the Spokane Chiefs Hockey Club, and the Spokane Shock Arena Football Team. Here is a look at how the Spokane Arena transforms from an ice rink to a football field overnight. 8 hours of shooting 1 frame a minute melded together to give you a cool look.

Can it really be the 11th of January 2011? Where does time go. I am sitting here this morning at 5:45 gathering my thoughts, and preparing for another day, and for 2011. I wanted to make a plan for the coming year, to see what I can do better than I did last year and in years past, make this year even more fullfilling than last...to do that Ii took a look back at the last year.



Wow, last year was amazing. I was lucky enough to follow my dreams around the world shooting sports, people, and weddings in a variety of places. Hockey in major venues at the NHL and AHL level, the Olympics and at the same time being able to watch 5 year olds take their first steps onto ice. Riding some of the finest snow on the planet with the coolest of cool friends while documenting the amazing wintersports world.



Shooting with some of the nicest people in the world in some of the most gorgeous places on the planet. If last year was any indication of what is in store in the future, I can't wait to get there!



Being a part of so many weddings that I can attribute at leaast 3 pounds around my waistline to wedding cake consumption. Being honored as a wedding photographer by local and national groups, meeting so many new people and making lasting friendships with them. Realizing that I have become part of families, documenting the life cycle for them, their milestones, their weddings, their babies, their families.



Today marks 9 and a half months that I have been smoke free. It has been trying, but during the critical times, when I needed support...there was an outpouring of it here on Facebook, and in person.



So, Looking forward to this coming year I realized that is was because of my family, friends and business associates that makes my life so full. I wanted to take a moment and say thanks to everyone for what has to be one of the most amazing years of my life. Over the last year, I have been blessed with some amazing experiences, and it is because of all of you. Thanks so much for your support and friendship. My goal for this year is to say thanks a little bit more to everyone hat has made my life so good....and to eat just a few more Twinkies.

I have a limited number of weekend days available for the 2011 season thanks to an amazing network of friends and referals, so I will not be exhibiting or attending the Spokane Bridal Show.

In lieu of offering an in-show special to prospective brides and grooms, I am offering the following discount instead. Take $300.00 off of my published full day local rate of $1375.00 if you book and retain your wedding between now and the 31st of January.
